Can a computer (HTPC/MCPC) run Blu-Ray/HD Cable better then a blu-ray player/cable box?

you should get a video card with HDMI out as that is the best type of connection for blu-ray hi-def. step up the video card and go to a 260 gtx. your ram is also only 800.if you want a good system you might as well step it up to 1333 or 1066 mhz. all else is good but i would reccomend getting a higher quality tuner. just my opinion. may i ask what tv you plan on running this on? and you can over clock your cpu to at least 3.6 if you water cool it. that case would be perfect for water cooling.i'd love to see how it turns out.and you dont need 8 gb of ram. 4 will do you just fine. you should also make sure you get vista 64 bit or xp 64 bit. just make sure its 64 bit. not 32.
