Java Programming Help with Recursive Method!!!!?

Write a recursive method, called vowels, that returns the number of vowels in a string. Also, write a program to test your method. That is the ignment for my cl. I had read the book twice and looked at all the programming example but none seem to help me. If I could get any help with this I would greatly appreciate it. Thank for everything!!!
