Is my mother going through the Menopause?

She is a bit young, but non the less I went through menopause quickly ( I had to have a ER total hysterectomy). I woke up extremely hot, and I am not talking like the kind of heat you get from the sun either. You could have stood me on the polar caps and I wouldn't have felt the coldness. I was only 23 y o ( I am now 40 y o), and the dr. gave me estradiol because I was too young not too have it. If your mom is not experiencing that ( hot flashes) that doesn't mean she isn't because everything else is on schedule. She may need to go see the dr. just for a check up. My my mom had to go for a check up just to make sure that it was all going like it was supposed to . If she needs help, the dr. can help her out with some meds or tell her how to go natural. I have stopped taking my estradiol just recently because I had been on it for 17 years and I told the dr. I do not like having to worry about cancer ( I was only on 1 mg). So far I haven't noticed any thing bad. Good Luck with your mom. I will pray for you so that you can help your mom keep her sanity. It is a bit of a bumpy road, but after wards it will be back to normal ( whatever normal is HA,HA).
