Why is my 6 month old sleeping differently, and why is he short?

Grow spurts do happen at 6 months. Just keep offering food to him. Have you tried feeding him at night when he wakes up. He could be realizing he is hungry in the middle of the night. Maybe his paci is confusing him and since his sucking need is being met he doesn't drink his formula.
