Is there an effective way to lose weight while still drinking alcohol?

When I started drinking I paid less attention to my diet and how healthy i was eating. After a few months I gained 15 pounds. I have tried to get the weight off with the atkins diet but it was very challenging for me and I wanted to try a diet that allowed me to get all my food groups in. I am trying to eat healthy now, but i still drink. I am not losing weight. Is there an effective diet or work out routine I can adopt that still allows me to drink?
